BluprintX are pleased to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Best Place to Work in Digital (SME category) in Computing’s Digital Technology Leaders Awards 2019.

The Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards exist to recognise the achievements of individuals and companies who are really making it happen at the coal face of the digital technology stack: from website design and coding to UX and project management, from scrum masters and product managers, all the way up to the CDO.

As a business that provides expert and specialist services that support other organisations in achieving digital transformation, we’ve always put digital at the centre of our culture and operations. By using tools to digitally manage employees and track employee engagement, our focus on the employee experience has driven higher productivity and increased innovation through an engaged workforce.

Some of the ways that we leverage technology to encourage and embrace employee ideas include:

  • At BluprintX, we maintain open lines of communication between our leadership and frontline teams worldwide by encouraging and digitally promoting employee engagement through Peakon. Through the use of this technology, we determine exactly what drives engagement and identify areas for improvement in real-time.
  • We encourage real-time communication through the use of Google Chat and WhatsApp, helping to improve efficiency and establish stronger personal relationships.
  • Using BambooHR, we’ve gained greater workforce visibility, allowing us to track all areas of the HR processes, from performance management through to employee on-boarding and contract management.
  • To ensure that BluprintX can guide our customers through the complexities of the ever-evolving martech ecosystem, we ensure that our team is always ahead of the curve – working with vendor partners in advance of system enhancements or releases to upskill our team.
  • We’ve established a clear digital strategy, integrating departments to remove organisational silos and utilising technology that provides employees with the right data, in addition to facilitating collaboration and improving productivity.
  • Our employees are heavily involved in pioneering and delivering innovative digital projects, both internally and for our clients. We empower our Bluprinters to identify and pursue opportunities for personal and professional growth and staff training and development are a key part of our culture code.

It is worth mentioning that while BluprintX is built on a firm digital ethos, the importance of human interaction has not been lost. Daily face to face huddles and weekly team meetings ensure that employees still feel part of a ‘real’ team, while open forums are hosted quarterly where everyone is given the opportunity to ask questions in an environment where all ideas are welcomed.

The winners of The Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards will be announced on 2nd July 2019 and you can see the awards roll here: https://events.computing.co.uk/digitalleadersawards/static/2019-shortlist
