CX Technology Consultancy Group Expands Operations into Asia-Pacific

(25 APRIL 2018 – LONDON, UK) – Bluprint X, the customer experience (CX) technology consultancy group, headquartered in the UK, have announced the acquisition of Resolution Marketing Services (RMS) in Sydney, Australia for an undisclosed sum. The move will bolster the company’s global geographical reach, broaden its service offerings and is the first in a series of planned acquisitions which will enable Bluprint X to become the leading authority in CX, marketing, sales and advertising technology consulting.

Bluprint Global, the MarTech division of Bluprint X, already have established local operations in London, Liverpool, Zurich, New York and Dubai. Acquiring RMS will provide the group with a solid presence in Asia-Pacific, access to a strong portfolio of existing clients and an experienced consultancy team.

Commenting on the drivers behind the acquisition, Lee Hackett, Bluprint X CEO, said: “Technology and data are the driving forces behind modern organisational change and it’s happening at an accelerated rate which many companies are struggling to keep pace with. That’s why we’re focused on building a truly global business that provides best-in-class technology consultancy to CX-focused businesses, of all sizes. The move to bring RMS into the Bluprint family marks the start of a long-term acquisition strategy which will strengthen our capabilities to support the implementation of organisational change and at the same time deepen our partnership with Marketo on a regional and global level.”

While the acquisition will complete at the end of March 2018, Bluprint and RMS are already working closely together on client briefs, with the combined portfolio now including global brands such as Fidelity, FIS, PwC, Sony, Pfizer and Ricoh.

Lee continued: “To support CX-focused organisations with change management, we have to be deep within the business, which means – for future and existing clients – we need to be where they are. Our growth strategy is therefore focused on establishing a local presence in all major regions worldwide, the first of these being Asia-Pacific with the acquisition of RMS.”

Graham Porter is the founder and Managing Director of RMS and also holds a seat on Marketo’s Partner Advisory Board. He commented: “This is an exciting development for many reasons. So far, we’ve been very successful in helping our clients to get the most out of their investment in Marketo’s marketing automation platform. But, with joining Bluprint X, we will now be able to serve our clients with the sales and marketing technology of Oracle, Adobe, Salesforce, Allocadia and Workfront as well. There’s a clear synergy in the culture and vision between RMS and Bluprint X and we believe this creates a natural partnership that will help us to meet our clients’ future needs and ensure continued success.”

Bluprint X intends to retain all RMS employees, who will continue to work under existing contracts. RMS will convert to trading as Bluprint over the coming months. Until then, both companies will trade under their existing names.
